Participation is open to any WMC member in good standing.
What it is: Writers are anonymously paired to create either a story or poem (genre decided upon entering). One writer starts (one page maximum), one finishes (one page maximum), and pairs are revealed at the April 18th meeting when the finished pieces are read. SONG OF THE FOREST - AFTER FIRE Maya will present slides, film excerpts and poetry devoted to the wild after wildfire. For four years, she has been following teams of scientists through the Sierra Nevada, the Cascades Mountains and beyond, to document hundreds of living, breathing reasons why our publicly owned forests need to be saved from large-scale logging projects.
