SEPTEMBER 17th MOLLY DWYER "The Plot Thickens" WELL ATTENDED!
There is no such thing as a perfect plot. On the other hand, good fiction doesn't just happen, it’s designed. We looked at how to develop plot organically, not by formula, but by instinct and discovery. We talked about what plot is and what it is not, what makes it work. We talked about how to develop a powerful storyline by attending to synchronicity and unconscious clues. This exploration was not about laying out a plotline and following it,but about how to walk into the wilderness of an idea and find your way through to meaningful and unpredictable resolution.
