WORKSHOP STRATEGIES FOR REVISITING, REIMAGINING and IMPROVING YOUR PROSE Few get it right—much less perfect—the first time around. Revision is not only an integral part of the writing process, it can also be the most rewarding. Bring a minimum of 5 pages of your current prose project (novel, novella, short story, memoir or essay) to work on in class. This is a prose revision workshop. Poets are welcome to attend, but the exercises are prose exercises. Send an email to Katherine Brown [email protected] to reserve your seat. Payment can be mailed to Writers of the Mendocino Coast, PO Box 762, Fort Bragg 95437 or paid at the door prior to the workshop. INDIGO MOOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE WMC WORKSHOPS: Must be a California Writers Club member (any branch). Applicants must send a letter sharing about their active writing, why they hope to attend this particular workshop, and need for a scholarship. Send via e-mail no later than fifteen days prior to event to writersmendocinocoast.org Applicants who received a scholarship in the last calendar year are not eligible. A committee will be appointed to read and decide award(s). Board members are eligible, but only one board member per year. Only one scholarship per workshop. FORT BRAGG LIBRARY
